Well Prepped Life — Service

Personal Chef for Seniors and Disabled Adults in Palo Alto

Palo Alto's senior population includes residents of long-standing neighborhoods like Crescent Park, Old Palo Alto, Midtown, and the Squares, as well as seniors in the Stanford-adjacent communities near El Camino Real and seniors living in the Barron Park and Greenmeadow neighborhoods. Well Prepped Life serves seniors and disabled adults throughout Palo Alto with weekly in-home personal chef services — coming directly to the client's home to cook a full week of nutritious, personalized meals. Founder Justine Sanidad is ServSafe-certified and brings deep expertise in senior nutrition, adaptive cooking, and medically tailored meal preparation.

What Our Palo Alto Chef Service Includes

Each session begins with a custom menu planned around the client's health conditions, dietary restrictions, and personal food preferences. A chef arrives at the Palo Alto home and spends three to four hours cooking seven to ten complete meals. Every dish is portioned, labeled with the name and reheating instructions, and organized in the refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen is cleaned before we leave. Meals are made from whole, fresh ingredients with no preservatives. We accommodate every dietary requirement common among Palo Alto's senior population: diabetic-friendly, low-sodium, renal diet, soft and pureed textures, gluten-free, allergen-free, and culturally specific menus.

Palo Alto Neighborhoods We Serve

We serve clients across Palo Alto, including Old Palo Alto, Crescent Park, Professorville, Midtown, Downtown, Barron Park, Greenmeadow, South Palo Alto, College Terrace, and the areas near Stanford University and El Camino Hospital. We work with seniors in single-family homes, condominium communities, and senior apartment complexes throughout the city. Palo Alto's proximity to Stanford Hospital and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital means we often work with clients recently discharged from these facilities who need immediate post-discharge meal support.

Medical Diets and Conditions

Palo Alto seniors we serve regularly manage Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, Parkinson's disease, MS, stroke, dementia, and post-surgical recovery. We prepare meals within strict dietary guidelines — low-sodium for cardiac conditions, carbohydrate-controlled for diabetes, low-potassium and low-phosphorus for renal diet, soft or pureed textures for dysphagia. For clients at or near Stanford Health Care who have received highly specific dietary guidance from the Stanford dietitian team, we work directly within those guidelines.
