Well Prepped Life — Service

High-Protein Meal Prep That Doesn't Taste Like a Spreadsheet

There are two ways to eat 180 grams of protein a day. One is the macro-plate factory: the same grilled chicken, the same scoop of rice, seasoning optional, until you dread your own fridge. The other is a chef who takes your protein target as a design constraint and builds food you'd order on purpose — then cooks it fresh every week and delivers it. I'm Justine Sanidad, ServSafe-certified, cooking from my own commercial kitchen in Mountain View. I cook for lifters, for adults in a recomposition phase, for busy tech households where both adults train, and for families where one person needs 200 grams a day and another needs low-sodium — in the same delivery.

How the Macros Get Hit

We start from your numbers — your coach's, your dietitian's, or just the target you train against — and I design the week backward from them. Protein density per portion is engineered in the menu, not sprinkled on after: marinated and roasted thighs and flank, fish twice a week, Greek-yogurt-based sauces instead of cream, legume sides that move the protein line without another chicken breast. Every container is labeled, and because I cook the same menu we agreed on, your tracking app entry is the menu we wrote together. When the target changes — cut, bulk, in-season — the menu changes the same week.

The Difference From a Macro-Plate Kitchen

Bay Area macro kitchens sell $10–20 plates in fixed rotations, and for a single adult who doesn't mind repetition they're a fine deal — I'll say that plainly. What they can't do is cook YOUR menu: the cuisines you actually crave, the variety that keeps adherence alive past week three, the second household member whose needs are different, the feedback loop where last week's note changes this week's food. Adherence is the whole game in a high-protein diet, and adherence dies of boredom. A chef's job is to make the compliant choice the one you look forward to.

A Typical Training Household

One Peninsula tech family I've cooked for wanted the week's training nutrition fully handled: high-protein lunches and dinners for two adults, menu set together each week, everything portioned so post-workout meals were grab-and-heat. The brief was simple — hit the protein, keep it interesting, make the healthy default the easy default. That arrangement is the Personal Chef plan in its natural habitat: the client authors the menu, I engineer it to the targets and cook it fresh. Households with bigger appetites or more people are scoped case by case on a free call.

Pricing

Plans start at $180/week (chef's choice within your macro brief) and $250/week (choose from my rotating menu, built to your targets). The full custom arrangement — you author the menu, as much variation as you'd like — is $490/week. A flat $50 a week on top covers delivery and all the groceries, whatever the menu asks for. Framework on the [pricing page](/pricing). No contract.

“Well Prepped Life (WPL) has been such a blessing for my mother, who was recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. With her strict dietary restrictions, finding meals that are both kidney-friendly and enjoyable has been a challenge, especially because my mom is a very picky eater. The meals are thoughtfully prepared to fit her dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. Most importantly, my mom actually enjoys the food—and that means so much to us. I’m truly grateful to WPL for helping make this difficult transition a little easier and more enjoyable for my mom. I highly recommend Well Prepped Life.”
